Rashad Evans was first exposed to mixed martial arts fans on Season 3 of The Ultimate Fighter on Spike TV. On the show Evans beat the enormous Brad Imes. Evans' background is in wrestling, having competed at Michigan State University where he compiled a record of 48-34.
In a recent fight Evans, who tends to primarily punch while standing, surprised many with a brutal high kick to Sean Salmon's head for a knockout that sent Salmon to the hospital.
