The late Jeremy Williams was a Californian mixed martial artist and had been awarded his black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu by Chris Brennan. He had a particularly dangerous submission game, and was known to triangle opponents quickly, as he did against Kazuhiro Hamanaka under a minute into the first round of their IFL fight in 2007. Hamanaka was choked unconscious with the submission, and Williams was awarded an an XBOX 360 by the IFL for the Fastest Finish and an undisclosed sum for Best Submission that evening.
Jeremy Williams passed away in May 2007.
