Gesias Calvancanti is an American Top Team mixed martial arts fighter from Brazil. He is a purple belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu under Ricardo Liborio. He began judo training at the age of four, and also holds a black belt in Luta Livre under Marcus Vinicius Corval. He has beaten tough opponents like Bart Palaszewski, and ADCC champion Rani Yahya. Most of his recent performances have been in the K-1 HERO'S organization.
Gesias Calvancanti had surgery on his hand in 2006, the same year he beat Caol Uno.
Calvancanti was given his nickname by American Top Team fighter Din Thomas.
