Frank Shamrock is one of the legends of mixed martial arts, beginning his fight career in 1994. Shamrock has fought many along his career, including such members of the Gracie family as Renzo Gracie, and Cesar Gracie. Other noteworthy opponents include Allan Goes and Bas Rutten. The overwhelming majority of his matches occurred prior to the year 2000. He has been active as an MMA fighter sporadically since then, but has always remained involved in some way or another during that time. He was the coach of the 2007 IFL Razorclaws.
Frank Shamrock made $300,000 for his loss to Cung Le in March 2008 according to the California State Athletic Commission.
