Originally from Athens, Georgia, MMA fighter Forrest Griffin became first exposed to larger audiences when he appeared on Spike TV's The Ultimate Fighter as a contestant of the reality show. In the conclusion of the show, Griffin fought Stephan Bonnar in what was considered by many to be one of the most exciting fights in MMA history.
Griffin's mixed martial arts career began in 2001, and his record contains a win over Jeff "The Snowman" Monson from their 2002 encounter.
Originally a campus cop at the University of Georgia, Griffin is known for providing comedic one-liners such as, "Women kept telling me that I wasnt much of a lover so I figured hell I must be a fighter."
