Schafer is a mixed martial artist known for his sense of humor and Brazilian jiu-jitsu skills. His easygoing attitude, a contrast from the typical "tough guy" image found in many MMA fighters, has distinguished him and brought him many fans quickly in his early exposure in the UFC.
