Din Thomas is a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and a member of American Top Team. A true veteran of MMA, he has fought tough opponents over the years such as Jens Pulver, BJ Penn, and Matt Serra.
In October 2007 Din Thomas was arrested by Florida authorities for allegedly holding underground, non-regulated fights in a warehouse. Din Thomas was acquitted of all charges by the end of November 2007.
It was reported in May 2008 that Din Thomas was released by the UFC from his fight contract.
