Considered to be one of the standouts at lightweight in the IFL, Palaszewski has wins over the likes of top Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner Marcio Feitosa and Ivan Menjivar. His toughest opponent has come in the form of the LA Anacondas' Chris Horodecki, to whom he lost by decision in February 2007.
Bart Palaszewski trained judo for two years when he was seven years old and still living Poland. At the age of 13, Palaszewski moved to the United States.
Bart Palaszewski began his MMA training in his senior year of high school under Jeff Curran in his hometown after being beat up by a member of Curran's academy. Today he also trains under Pat Miletich on the IFL Silverbacks in Bettendorf Iowa, although with his first child due in 2007 he has stated he will most likely be spending more training time locally with Jeff Curran.
